8.1. Introduction

Bootloader software contains the following applications: encoder and fw_update. Both applications run under console. You can run bootloader software under Windows 2000/XP/NT/98, Linux, FreeBSD, Darwing, Mac Operating Systems.

Encoder and fw_update applications are distributed with open source code.
