General Description
Diolan USB to I2C Bridge device - U2C-11 converts USB transactions to I2C Master transactions. U2C-11 turns your PC running Windows or Linux OS into comprehensive I2C Bus master.
U2C-11 supports different I2C clock frequencies. You can choose Fast Mode at 400kBit/s or Standard mode at 100kBit/s and less. Standard mode speed can be selected by software. Low speed will allow you to communicate on overloaded I2C bus.
U2C-11 use input and output dual buffer to support posted transactions. This feature allows U2C-11 to increase overall system performance and reduce latency in back to back transactions. All other devices will suffer from USB frame synchronization delay of 1ms between transactions.
Using I2C-11 and our terminal applications ( GUI or command line ) you will get instant access to any I2C slave device. You can create your own I2C control applications based on our drivers and libraries.
U2C-11 has also GPIO ( General Purpose Input Output ) transactions support to let you control and/or monitor digital signals.
